Real life heroes teach us about bravery – just like fairy tales. Meet Jane Austen, who lived in a tiny village in the 1700s and didn’t have much opportunity to go to school. Instead, she read many books in father’s library and began to write her own stories about castles, ghosts, adventure and love. Jane loved creating something new.  

At first, no one would publish her. In fact, it was considered “unladylike!” Then, all over England, people started enjoying her books. Now Jane’s books can be found all around the world in many different languages
